OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T updated to Oxygen OS 5.1.2

OnePlus is rolling out an update for both the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T smartphones. Both devices are being updated to Oxygen OS 5.1.2. The update brings in a host of fixes, and stability upgrades.

The update is 1.6GB in size, and you should have a stable Wi-Fi connection before starting the update process.

OnePlus says that this OTA update is being rolled out in phases, so in case you haven t received a notification, you should soon. Let s take a look at everything that the new update brings in.

OxygenOS 5.1.2 update brings in May Security update to the OnePlus 5 and OnePlus 5T. It also fixes auto-rotation stability issue. The Gallery app gets a map view to see photos by location, and a new collection to see the Recently Deleted photos.

In case you have been facing issues with connecting to Wi-Fi networks, this update fixes it. You can now double-tap to lock screen, and the update also fixes an issue with the mic not working on certain AKG earphones.
